Kluger Architects was proud to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of our new parish church, Guardian Angel Church, located in Pacoima. The ceremony was held on Sunday, June 18, where approximately 400 people attended.

The Archbishop, Jose Gomez, also attended the ceremony and blessed the commencement of the construction.

For more than 20 years, many guardian angels have kept an eye on the project to construct a new church for the community. This new parish is a testament to everyone’s perseverance and commitment in making it happen and marks an important turning point in the effort to promote growth and development.

There will be 1,300 seats in the new 17,000 square foot church, which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2024. More than 200 car parking spaces, parish office and meeting space, expanded neighboring roadways, and new sidewalks are all part of the project.

Kluger Architects has designed projects for the Catholic Church for over 25 years in Southern California and we are honored to be a part of such great milestones.
