Sharing our ongoing ZOE Church renovation in Los Angeles, where we are undertaking a comprehensive interior remodel and exterior renovation. This project includes vital seismic retrofitting to enhance the building’s earthquake resilience and the transformation of a former Buddhist temple into a vibrant Christian church, all while following historic preservation standards.
The church spans two levels, encompassing approximately 19,000 square feet. It features a spacious main sanctuary for worship, accompanied by a welcoming narthex that serves as a gathering space for the community.
The lower level, which covers 7,850 square feet, is dedicated to the Kids Ministry, fostering an engaging environment for younger members to learn and connect. Additionally, we’re incorporating essential back-of-house spaces, including offices and preparation areas, on both floors. The exterior design beautifully blends modern aesthetics with traditional elements, creating a unique identity for the church.
