Our architectural team had an amazing experience last week during our first field trip of 2023. We visited the Petersen Automotive Museum on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Known as one of the largest automotive museums globally, the Petersen Automotive Museum focuses on the history of automobiles. It offers a variety of educational programs related to the automotive industry. The museum features a vast array of vehicles, from classic cars to modern supercars, showcasing the technological advancements and design changes that have occurred over the years. Not only did our team gain more insights into automotive engineering, design, and innovation, but we had the opportunity to study the architecture.

The team was able to reflect more on the exterior facade featuring a stainless steel ribbon that wraps around the building. Additionally, we studied other design elements such as lighting, materials, and interactive displays that blend together to create an immersive environment.

The team truly enjoyed the private tour of the museum and it is a trip that we all will cherish forever!
