Our collaboration with ZOE Church, Los Angeles, focuses on a complete interior remodel as well as exterior renovation, seismic retrofitting, strengthening the existing building against earthquakes, and the conversion of a Buddhist temple to a Christian Church, following historical preservation rules.

The church is two levels and approximately 19,000 square feet in total and features a spacious main sanctuary for worshipping, alongside a narthex, which serves as a gathering space before entering the sanctuary.

The spacious 7,850 square feet lower floor is the Kids Ministry, dedicated to younger members of the church and designed for children’s studies and engagement with one another. Additional back-of-house spaces, such as offices and prep areas, are included on both floors. Lastly, the exterior combines modern aesthetics with traditional elements.
