Tulare Regional Medical Center - Replacement Hospital Tower
Project Description
Tower 2 exclusively designed by Kluger Architects will connect to Tower 1 through an impressive common all glass multi-story atrium. Tower 2 floors one through four interior will be completed out at a later date, but will be approximately 19,400 SF each, with clinical space in addition to patient rooms. Tower 1 is a new 111,000 SF addition originally designed by George Christiansen that will be an addition to the existing hospital tower. The Tower 1 will house up to 105 patient beds and will connect to the original older facility.
The basement’s level will be approximately 25,000 SF with three loading docks, engineering, laboratory and material management functions along with trash delivery systems. The new Tower 2 and atrium will work architecturally and functionally in harmony with the tower currently under construction. A Tower 3 concept was also designed by Kluger Architects for a future expansion should it be needed.
