Kluger Architects has been using 3D printing as a design tool for research and development!
Since most all of our projects are unique and contain “one of a kind” custom elements, we have found that using a 3D printer as a valuable tool. The 3D printer aids in developing complex shapes and building elements and also is a great tools for presentation and development of buildings components.
Our Santa Clara de Asis Church design is a complex project that has many unique elements. These 3D printed images show the shapes starting to form and inter-workings of the shapes with one another to create a custom ceiling system and light shadows that are unique to this particular Church.
The shapes will help refine the theme of the building and bring a uniquely local element of nature into the ceiling design.
