On August 26, 2026, Rosary Academy celebrated a significant milestone with the groundbreaking of its new school wing in Fullerton, officially marking the transition from vision and design into construction.
Members of the Rosary Academy community gathered to commemorate the occasion with a ceremonial groundbreaking and a special prayer for the new building, the students it will serve, and the many individuals whose collaboration and dedication are helping bring the project to life. Bishop Kevin Vann attended the ceremony and offered a blessing for the new project and the Rosary Academy community.

Designed by Kluger Architects, the new school wing is an important part of Empower Rosary, Rosary Academy’s initiative to invest in the future of its campus, strengthen the student experience, and create new opportunities for generations of young women to learn, lead, and grow.
The celebration brought together members of the Rosary Academy community and school leadership, including Dr. Shawna L. Pautsch, Head of School; Sean Basford, Principal/Assistant Head of School; and Kristie Rueff O’Campo, Executive Director of Advancement, whose leadership and commitment continue to help advance the vision for the campus.

The project is being advanced through the collaboration of a dedicated consultant team, including HABC / Hoffman; Mike McGrath, Civil; Pacific, MEP; Thorburn Inc., Acoustics & Low Voltage; KPFF, Structural Engineer of Record; Wilson Davis Associates, Landscape Architecture; P2S, Commissioning; and RCBO representatives Jose Diaz and Greg Gooch.

The project builds upon Rosary Academy’s established campus while introducing a contemporary addition designed to support the school’s evolving educational mission. With construction now officially underway, the groundbreaking represents an exciting new chapter and an important step toward transforming Rosary Academy’s long-term vision into reality.

Kluger Architects is proud to partner with Rosary Academy on this transformative project and was honored to celebrate this meaningful milestone alongside the school community.

We look forward to sharing additional updates as construction progresses and the new school wing begins to take shape.
