Kluger Architects were tasked by St. John the Baptist Catholic School with designing a gymnasium spanning over 10,000 square feet. The gymnasium consists of a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a large stage with storage rooms on both sides for performances, theater, and special events. The gymnasium also includes two meeting rooms, a large coach’s office, and an electrical room to support operational needs. A spacious entrance vestibule ensures access to both the gymnasium and restroom facilities. The features include a masonry design which portrays St. John baptizing Jesus in the river. Jordan the masonry creates colors and textures to portray the religious event.
