Despite the pandemic and many other last minute hurdles, the long awaited completion of the Glendora Public Market finally arrived! http://glendorapublicmarket.com/about/
Kluger Architect began the design concepts in 2016 and here we are 4 years later from concept to opening, which is relatively fast considering the entitlement processes, city and county permit processes and completion of the construction phase to Grand Opening!
This project is an adaptive re-use of 1940’s beautiful brick building which previously housed the Wonder Bread factory and distribution center.
After many years of sitting empty our clients envisioned a new beginning for the building and a new concept was born. By curating a mix of select local southern Californian food and beverage users we helped create a truly unique experience for the Glendora Area located right off the famous route 66 – Arrow Highway, at 905 E. Arrow Hwy in Glendora.
Many of the original building elements were maintained, cleaned and enhanced. The original brick was restored which became a perfect design element for the tenants like Smog Brewery, Penny Coffee Rosters, Belly Bombz, Portside and Bushi by JINYA Ramen Bar. Here is a list of the great tenants http://glendorapublicmarket.com/#vendors
The unique inside / outside spaces have quickly become a neighborhood friendly destination. where else can you do Yoga have coffee and dine on an eclectic mix of foods in an indoor / outdoor environment.
We are Thankful to our clients Jason Hsiao and Garrett Whitfield for their vision and determination!
