Day 2 at The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Convention!
Today kicked off with a keynote speaker, Allie K. Miller, on “Building and Scaling Your Practice Using AI.” AI is currently reshaping how we think, how we design, and how we lead. She shared powerful insights on how AI is transforming architecture and how companies should integrate AI into their practices, so it serves as a tool to support our work, instead of replacing it.
Another standout moment was attending the Interfaith Design Knowledge Community for a collaborative forum. It was lovely connecting with incredible members who are running a growing faith-based community with over 6,000 members nationwide. Kluger Architects is excited to support the growth of this committee and looks forward to actively engaging with its members.
“Empowering Minority-Led Design to Elevate Underserved Communities” was another powerful session. They showcased how architecture can serve as a powerful tool for economic revitalization, cultural preservation, and social equity, proving it’s about far more than just aesthetics. The session highlighted the importance of minority leadership and how community engagement and socioeconomic understanding can lead to spaces that support local needs.
Feeling energized by today’s discussions and lessons. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings!
